Alison Maria Krauss - born on the 23rd of July 1971 is a popular American bluegrass and country singer. She entered the music industry as a young girl, having won local competitions at when she was 10 years old and recording for the first time at 14. When she was 14, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. The band invited her to join the band whom she performs Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album in the group in the year 1989.
