sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was originally born July 6, 1946 in Hell's Kitchen as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone. He's the elder son of Italian-born Francesco "Frank" Stallone , Jr who worked as a hairdresser. Jackie Stallone, an astrologer and dancer. He has an older brother, Frank Stallone, who is an actor and musician. Childbirth complications led to the lower left portion of Sylvester's face crippled, which gave him his now-iconic "snarling" appearance and slight slurred voice. Stallone had a portion of his childhood in foster care due to of the volatile relationship between parents and children. In the end, the couple divorced. Stallone trained in drama at the American College in Switzerland before making the move to the University of Miami. Before completing his degree at the end of the year, he left the school and relocated to New York City in order to pursue acting as a profession.
