Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault, born Salma Valgarma Jamesenez on September 2, 1966, is an American and Mexican actor and producer. She started her career in Mexico with her starring role in the Telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as well as the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), for which she earned an Ariel Award nomination. She quickly made herself known in Hollywood through appearances in films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999). Hayek's portrayal of Frida the painter in Frida (2002) in which she also directed and directed, made Hayek the first Mexican actress to win the Academy Award [6]. This also earned her an Golden Globe Award nomination, Screen Actors Guild Award nomination, and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek continued to make films her films, and also starred in action-oriented film Once Upon a Time in Mexico in the years following.
