Heidi Watney was born May 19, 1981. She is an American sportscaster and serves as an anchor on Apple TV+. She was a National Merit Scholar and attended the University of San Diego on academic scholarships, and she graduated with distinction in 2003. Watney was the first runner-up for Miss California USA 2002. Watney started her career at KMPH-TV in Fresno in September 2003. She started as a morning traffic reporter, before moving to the weekend sports anchor and the weekday sports reporter in 2005. She moved to Massachusetts in 2008, and began her work for New England Sports Network. She was a reporter during games for the Boston Red Sox. Watney was also the host of the Ultimate Red Sox Show, Red Sox Report and Red Sox Report. In January 2012, Watney began working for Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles as a reporter with the LA Galaxy. In November 2012, the reporter was recruited by MLB Network.
